We are a small hobby-based poultry farm passionate about breeding healthy, high-quality birds from carefully selected European bloodlines. Every order is prepared with care, honesty, and attention to welfare standards.
We genuinely appreciate every customer and always aim to provide the freshest, best-quality hatching eggs possible. However, hatching eggs are fragile, natural products and purchasing them involves risks that are outside of our control once dispatched.
By placing an order, you confirm that you have fully read, understood, and accepted all terms below.
📦 ORDER INFORMATION
Minimum Order

• 18 eggs

🥚 Price is per egg.
You may mix and match breeds within the same order.
Please ensure the correct postage option is selected for the quantity purchased. Orders with incorrect postage may be delayed, adjusted, or refunded.
🐔 OUR BIRDS & BREEDING PROGRAM
Our birds are carefully selected pure breeds from imported European show-quality bloodlines.
✔️ No British bloodlines used
✔️ Bloodlines refreshed regularly
✔️ Young healthy breeding stock
✔️ High welfare standards
✔️ Small breeding groups (approximately 1 male to 3–5 hens)
🌱 Birds are fed quality feed, grains, and treats to support fertility, vigour, and health.
Please note that genetics are natural and variations in colour, feathering, markings, bloom, egg shade, or appearance may naturally occur and do not represent faults.
🥚 EGG QUALITY & FRESHNESS
✔️ Eggs are collected multiple times daily
✔️ Usually dispatched within 48 hours of laying
✔️ Candled and visually checked before dispatch
✔️ Carefully packaged to the best standard possible
Eggs naturally vary in:
• Colour
• Shape
• Size
• Bloom
This is completely normal and affected by breed, season, age, diet, and laying cycle.

⚠️ Delivery service names refer ONLY to the courier’s estimated delivery target AFTER collection from us.
They do NOT guarantee same-day or immediate dispatch from our farm.
📅 Dispatch is usually Monday–Thursday depending on weather, order volume, laying availability, and queue position. After you paid, your name is allocated on the list sequence.
⏳ Please bear in mind, that sometimes even with so many laying birds, you may need to allow up to 14 working days for dispatch during busy periods, although most orders are sent much sooner! Ordering well in advance might help you.
If you require urgent dispatch or certain date, please contact us BEFORE ordering and we will always try our best to accommodate where possible.
⚠️ RESPONSIBILITY AFTER DISPATCH
Once an order has been:
✔️ Packaged
✔️ Dispatched
✔️ Scanned/collected by Royal Mail or courier
the order is considered fulfilled and responsibility and ownership transfers fully to the buyer.
At that point, the parcel is no longer:
• In our possession
• Under our control
• Within our reach
• Accessible to us operationally
Therefore, we cannot accept liability for circumstances outside of our control, including but not limited to:
• Postal or courier delays
• Mishandling during transport
• Cracked or damaged eggs
• Lost, stolen, delayed, returned, seized, or missing parcels
• Incorrect addresses entered at checkout
• Depot/customs/sorting office delays or holds
• Temperature exposure during transit
• Rough handling or X-ray scanning
• Failed delivery attempts
• Courier operational failures of any kind
Unfortunately, we cannot:
❌ Control courier handling
❌ Intervene in postal operations
❌ Guarantee transit conditions
❌ Guarantee delivery times
❌ Refund or replace due to courier-related issues
❌ Cover losses caused after collection from our premises
It is never in our interest to send damaged eggs, and all orders are packaged with great care and experience.
🐣 HATCHING DISCLAIMER
Hatching eggs naturally carry risk, even under perfect conditions.
By purchasing, you acknowledge and accept that hatch success depends on many variables outside of our control, including:
• Incubator quality and calibration
• Humidity and temperature management
• Egg handling after arrival
• Storage conditions
• Transport vibration and temperature fluctuation
• User experience and incubation methods
• Natural embryo development variation
✔️ Fertility is monitored regularly from healthy breeding stock.
However:
❌ Fertility rate does NOT equal hatch rate
❌ Hatch rates can NEVER be guaranteed
Even experienced breeders with professional equipment may experience poor hatches due to factors beyond anyone’s control.
Therefore, no refunds, replacements, compensation, guarantees, or liability are accepted for:
• Poor hatch rates
• Clear eggs
• Early or late embryo death
• Development issues
• Shrink-wrapping
• Malpositioned chicks
• Cracked eggs
• Transport damage
• Courier delays or losses
• Incubator or user error
• Power failures or equipment malfunction
By purchasing hatching eggs, the buyer fully accepts all risks associated with incubation and transport.
🤝 GOODWILL SUPPORT
We believe in fairness and honest customer service.
While we cannot accept liability for courier or hatch-related outcomes, in some genuine situations we may choose — entirely at our discretion and without obligation — to offer goodwill assistance where we feel it is fair and reasonable.
This may include:
• Advice and troubleshooting
• A small future-order discount
• Replacement eggs where stock allows (postage payable)
Any goodwill gesture remains entirely voluntary and does not create any admission of liability or ongoing obligation.
📸 TRANSIT DAMAGE CLAIMS
If eggs arrive visibly damaged:
📩 Contact us within 24 hours of delivery.
Please provide:
✔️ Clear photos
✔️ Original packaging
✔️ Photos before handling the eggs
Failure to provide evidence within this timeframe may prevent us from reviewing the issue.
Please understand that transit damage is caused during courier handling and is outside our control.
🚫 FARM VISITS & COLLECTIONS
Collections may occasionally be arranged by prior agreement only.
🚫 Farm visits are not permitted.
Our farm is also our private family home and working environment. Due to previous unwanted disturbances and safeguarding concerns, our residential address remains private.

✔️ Accept that hatch results cannot be guaranteed
✔️ Agree that Gracie’s Farm and its owners shall not be held liable for losses, damages, delays, hatch outcomes, or courier-related issues beyond our control
