We are a small, hobby-based poultry farm run with care, love, and experience. Every egg is handled with the highest standards—but once posted, much is beyond our control. This policy helps set clear expectations and ensures a fair, transparent process for everyone.

💸 Refunds & Hatch Responsibility

We do not offer refunds or returns on hatching eggs.
This is due to the unpredictable nature of:

  • Third-party postal handling

  • Varying incubator models and customer practices

  • The natural risks of embryo development

We are not a large commercial farm. Our birds must still be fed, and our time and resources continue whether or not a hatch is successful. Refund requests create financial strain on our family and affect our ability to care for the animals you are supporting by purchasing from us.

We kindly ask that you remain honest, understanding, and mindful before requesting any form of compensation.

By placing an order, you accept full responsibility for:

  • Your own incubator setup and hatch outcomes - eggs will not always 100% hatch all

  • Your level of hatching experience is not relevant whether you hatch all the eggs or none

  • You are aware of all risks associated with posted hatching eggs - like eggs can arrived damaged / delayed in the post / lost / damaged parcel or eggs - it is common sense once I hand the eggs to a courier I can not do anything and that's where my end of the deal has been completed and purchase is considered done and fulfilled

Even with over 15 years of hatching experience ourselves, success is never guaranteed.

📦 After Eggs Leave Our Hands

Once posted, we cannot guarantee how eggs will be handled by couriers or postal services. While we package with care and dispatch only fresh, clean, fertile eggs, transit conditions and rough handling may impact the outcome. We use sharpies to mark all our eggs - this has never lowered the hatchability of the egg (had done with thousands of hatched eggs).

🐔 Our Eggs & Breeding Lines

  • All eggs are from imported, high-quality Australorp breeding stock, with no British bloodlines.

  • Occasionally, genetics may throw stains of colour on white birds, or in other breeds like Australorp can throw blue, white or splash (white bird with any small or bigger or multiple "stain"), or solid black birds or feathers —this is normal and expected in some lines/recessive genes can happen at any time hence we are doing breeding = selecting the best characters.

  • All birds are fed non-GMO feeds and organic treats.

  • Cockerels are housed with 3–5 hens, and lines are rotated annually to ensure healthy diversity. Birds are always under 20 months old.

📸 Egg Appearance Disclaimer

All photos on our listings, website, or social media are for display purposes only.

  • Egg colour, shape, size, and bloom will vary due to:

    • Seasonal changes

    • Hen age and diet

    • Natural pigment and bloom variation

We do not accept complaints or returns based on perceived differences in shell colour or egg appearance. No two eggs are identical, and this is a natural part of poultry breeding.

⏳ Order Timing & Dispatch

  • Dispatch may take up to 14 days due to high demand.

  • Eggs are never “old”—we collect daily and ship eggs within 48 hours of laying.

  • Sometimes your order may ship sooner depending on the time and day of payment.

  • If you need fast dispatch, contact us before ordering.

  • It may take as long as 14 days because there are always clients that have ordered their eggs for either specific dates (we try accommodate everyone's wishes) or have a long waiting list (because we are good at what we do :D )

🤝 Collections & Visits

  • Collection is sometimes available by prior arrangement, usually evenings after farm duties only for collections. Or can leave eggs in safe place for collection.

  • We are not a public attraction and do not offer tours. We simply do not have time for everyone to meet, chat, hand eggs and advice. We are really sorry but we work any hour of the day.

  • In some cases, we may offer to meet in a nearby town for collection.

  • For Delivery in the area message to discuss.

🧊 Damaged Eggs in Transit

If your eggs arrive cracked or broken:

  1. Notify us within 24 hours of delivery.

  2. Include clear photos of the eggs in their original packaging, before removal.

  3. If stock allows, we may offer replacement eggs (postage & packaging at your cost).

  4. Alternatively, we may issue a little discount code for your next order. We appreciate you are aware we do NOT send damaged eggs and this will not be our fault but we try help.

⚠️ Low Development Rates (<30%)

If you have a low development rate (e.g. only 1 of 6 or 2 of 12 eggs develop), a discount code may be offered once per customer although it will probably be due to handling/incubation we understand frustration to a degree, you need to provide:

  • Clear photos/videos of your incubator setup, showing:

    • A secondary thermometer and hygrometer inside the incubator

    • Accurate temperature and humidity readings while the incubator is closed

  • Numbered candling photos of each egg

  • A group photo showing all eggs together with our original markings and your numbers

  • The date of candling and total egg count

Send all proof to: farm.m_m@yahoo.com

Incorrect incubation conditions or poor hatch practices will void this offer. Also Buyer will have to pay a new postage and packaging.

❗️ We Do Not Replace or Refund For:

  • Any Delays in postal delivery

  • Any contact made more than 22 days after eggs arrived with you

  • Reports made after hatching is complete, unless previous concerns were raised

  • Hatch failures due to:

    • Incubator malfunction

    • Incorrect temperature, humidity, or turning

    • Wrong settings for specific incubation stages

    • Long postage due to postal issues (eggs not delivered in the promised time frame by the courier) or lost eggs in postage

We provide a detailed advice sheet, with what we do and works for us and worked in the past for our customers, this is not something you must do.
